Highwayman comics
Over the last few weeks, we have been attempting to turn the Highwayman story into a comic strip...
We began by re-telling the story to each other and then selecting the main events that we would need to include from Alfred Noyes' classic tale. After getting into groups, the children then took on roles and created freeze-frames to represent these key moments,
These were put into a template for the children to add captions, speech and onomatopoeia. Now we are assembling all the ingredients on the laptops, which is a lengthy process!
