  • ICT Usage

    Published 10/11/17, by Admin

In Reception, as with the whole of the school, ICT is used only to enhance the childrens learning. In Team Richards we have our own set of Ipads which we use a coulple of times a week. This gives the children time to practise and build on their ICT skills. This term our ICT target is for the children to be able to complete a computer program. For the past week the Ipads have not been in class due to them being updated by our ICT team. In past years we have shared the Ipads with other year groups. This year they are just for our class so will now only contain apps that are benificial and specifically targeted for our chidlren, and the topics we are covering. Our interactive white board is again used to enhance the teaching and learning of the children, through different forms. We also use the audio feature for relaxing music during snack time and for a wake and shake a couple of times a week. Any questions regarding ICT please feel free to come and see me.
