Mathletics

Multiplication has been the focus for this week in maths. Times tables are essential in many areas of maths (and indeed everyday life) so do need to be practised regularly. They also underpin many of the key methods such as the grid and the number line method which the children have been looking at this week. Most children are now able to use the grid method to calculate a 2 or 3-digit number multiplied by a single-digit number.
