Reciprocal Reading!

For the past couple of weeks I have introduced a guided reading scheme called reciprocal reading. Reciprocal reading is essentially a mini book group where the children each take on a different role and guide their group towards a deeper understanding of the text they are reading. The roles are Clarifier, Summariser, Questioner and Predictor.  Each day the children take on a role and help their group understand the book a little more. It is a child-led activity and as you can see from these children's faces ... they're big fans!
