Reading and Reading Records

As we have now started Term 2, I would like to remind all parents, guardians and carers that we would like for every child to be reading at home for at least ten minutes daily and for their reading record to be updated as well. We have had a look at Team Amin's records and these have indicated that many children have not been reading daily or have actually not been reading very often at all. Even if your child is reading their own book or a book online on Bug Club, their reading record still needs to be updated. Reading daily and as much as possible will help to improve fluency and confidence and the books available in school and online are varied and cater to many interests.
