Open Class Afternoon

Thank you to all of the parents, carers and guardians that were able to attend our open class yesterday afternoon. For those who were unable to, I have attached the Powerpoint below which outlines the expectations and the Term ahead. Top notes to take away from the session:

1.  Mathletics has been set up and children were given their log in details yesterday to take home.

2. Correspondence on my part will be done through Bug Club online this year. If I can see that a member of Team Amin has confidently read all of their allocated books online and answered the questions confidently, I shall move them up to the next level. Of course, I am more than happy for the children to be reading their own books at home. They are also welcome to take books from our reading corner as well which some have already started to leave in their trays. This is lovely to see! If you feel their books are too easy or too hard, please let me know as soon as possible. 

3. Doors open at 8.15am and the register is done at 8.30am so that learning can begin on time. Early morning work is always set out for the children so if children can be in on time so that they have the chance to have a look at next steps and respond to comments, that would be fantastic.
