Early Years Wellbeing Week, 4-10 October 2021

Looking after our minds and wellbeing

We all know how challenging the last 20 months have been and the impact the challenges of Covid-19 can have on our mental health and wellbeing. This week, in conjunction with this year's Early Years Wellbeing Week, 4-10 October which raises awareness of the importance of self awareness and keeping fit, well and healthy in body and mind.  This year's theme is "This is Me" and links perfectly with our topic about "Marvellous Me". We have explored the fantastic book "The Colour Monster" by Anna Llenas to help us understand our feelings and emotions and we have learnt some mindfulness techniques such as yoga, mindfulness colouring and breathing. World Mental Health Day takes place on Sunday 10th October.
