The power of plants

We started this term's topic this week - Ready, Steady, Grow! We will be learning all about growth in living things and this week we began by learning about plants. We reminded ourselves that there are hundreds of different species of plants and trees growing on our amazing planet. We learnt the names of the parts of a plant and how to label a diagram correctly. We used our observational skills to do some very accomplished drawings and finished this week with some fantastic paintings of daffodil plants.
