Dinosaur findings!

We were excited and scared in equal measure when we found a dinosaur nest with an egg in the garden followed by a video of a pair of T-Rexes in our outside area!! Needless to say it provided a rich source of discussion and writing and we quickly realised that as dinosaurs are extinct they couldn't possibly come to school! On Friday we started to look in greater detail at the different kinds of dinosaurs and we enjoyed using our language to describe their different shapes, sizes, colours, diet and we even mimicked how they moved. This is just the beginning of a very exciting topic to come!
