Published 13/01/22, by AdminAs part of Personal Development week this week we have been learning about Buddhism in RE. We have learnt about the wheel of life and how it reminds Buddhists of their teachings; and about Vesak, a festival in May that celebrates Buddha's birthday. During this festival Buddhists decorate their temples with lanterns and flags, place flowers around Buddha's shrine and give vegetarian food to those in need as well as other things.
We enjoyed learning about the festival and creating some of the things Buddhists would during the festival.
