Read here for information regarding your child's reading record...

We firmly believe that reading is a crucial life skill that underpins many other subjects as well as being a fun and exciting pastime. In year 6, the children will be expected to read AT LEAST four times a week - signed by an adult. Reading records and reading books will be coming home at the beginning of next week to support this process. Ideally, reading records will come into school every day, so it can be recorded if an adult has listened to them read - but must be in on Mondays, so we can check off the four signed reads.

More details regarding this (and other aspects of year 6) will be explained at the class open afternoon for parents / guardians on Friday 10th September at 2:30pm.
