Monkton Trip
What a lovely day!
Today, Year 3 went on an exciting trip to Monkton Nature Reserve! We spotted lily pads in the pond, slowworms, a rabbit, giant seeds, eggs and whale jaw bones in the museum and, of course, lots of incredible plants! We even collected our own flowers, which we then dissected to identify all the parts! It was amazing, and we knew so many features including the anther, ovary and sepal! WOW!
