Lila in English

In guided reading the children have been developing their reading and comprehension skills by taking on various reciprocal reading roles such as the predictor, clarifier or questioner, whilst in English lessons, the children have written out predictions using conjunctions and modal verbs before using exciting openers and expanded noun phrases to write AMAZING setting descriptions. The writing the children have produced in class this week has been their best yet. Hopefully you will read some of it during parents evening appointments next week, and agree!
