Being imaginative

We have been coming up with new ideas and plans for our child initiated time this week. We have been very busy and engaged with our activities. The lucky animals in class were built a special zoo, they were carefully sorted out into different parts of the zoo depending how 'wild' they were and whether they needed to live in water or not. The animals were kept very safe with special guard dogs.

It's lovely to see the children come together and develop their own ideas during their child initiated time. They particularly enjoy sharing this with their peers when we 'review' our child initiated time together. It helps us to think about the outcomes for something we made have made. The children like to offer suggestions to their peers for how they can add to or improve their activity for next time.
