Dinky Town Trip
Our FIRST school trip!!
Dear Parent /Carer
We are very excited to announce that we will be going on our first school trip to Dinky Town on the morning of Tuesday 22nd November 2022. This visit links to our topic learning ‘Our Heroes’ and allows the children to role play as community heroes.
This visit has been designed to link perfectly with the EYFS Framework. Dinky Town is an innovative children’s indoor play centre located in Ramsgate which has been created to enhance imaginative role play. The children will have access to the fire engine, police station, supermarket, aeroplane, school, tube, and work in the café or as a builder and so much more. On the day, children will arrive at school as normal, in their uniform and we will be walking to Dinky Town as classes. We will be back at Ramsgate Arts Primary school for lunch as normal.
As well as this, I will be looking for some parent helpers for this trip so please contact Miss Spurrier if you’re interested in coming along with us.
We are asking for a contribution of £3.25 per child towards the cost of the activity, payable via the online system (no cash please). If payment for the Dinky Town trip will cause you any difficulty, please do not hesitate to contact the school office in the strictest confidence.
