Meet the orchestra with Kidenza

The different instrument families were introduced to the children, helping them to understand the different pitches and their roles within the orchestra as a whole.

Classics such as Holst's 'Mars' and 'Jupiter' were played, alongside some songs that were more familiar to the children - namely the theme tune from 'Star Wars'.

Being in a theatre and listening to a concert such as this is hopefully seen by the children as both memorable and enriching - it certainly was for me!
