Our Heroes

This week we have started our new topic 'our heroes'. We spoke all about real life heroes in the community and how they help us (we will delve into this further later in the term). Then we spoke about our heroes at home and what our families do to help us. We thanked them and made thank you cards to take home. We then thought about how we could be heroes at home too by helping around the house with putting our toys away, making our beds, cleaning the house. Later in the week we spoke about people that help us at school. We went on a tour of the school and posed questions to some of the staff members we met along the way. We were very impressed.
