Welcome Back!

Happy New Year! I hope you had a lovely festive break and are not feeling too tired this week - I think the children are in need of a big rest this weekend after a busy week back. 

We have a library trip on Monday, if you would like to come with us then please meet us at the office at 10am. We'll walk to the library and the children will have the opportunity to read through a book and borrow a book if they have their library card. Please send in library cards if your child has one. If you gave me a form for a library card then we should be able to pick these up on Monday.

Children can bring their favourite toy on Monday. These toys need to be appropriate for school and not too large. We will have them in a box at the front of the class until our topic lesson where we will talk about our favourite toys with the class. This is a link to our new topic - Playing, Past and Present. 

Pictures of the toys will then be used for our Art to Start, Wednesday 15th Jan at 2:15pm, all welcome. 

Can children also please bring in a sock to make into a sock puppet, we don't need these until the week of 20th Jan. 

P.E is now on Mondays and Wednesdays. 

Parent Read will start again in due course; please bear with for dates!
