Beach Trip!

Our topic this term is “Where We Are’ and for this topic we are looking at our local area, the features of the coast and learning how to stay safe on the beach. We are therefore planning a trip to Viking Bay beach on: Monday 7th July

We will be making sandcastles, exploring the rock pools (tide permitting) and spending some time in the kiddie’s corner! If your child would like to bring a bucket and spade, then please ensure these are named. We ask that children wear their school uniform and trainers or beach shoes.

As we will be outdoors for the day, please ensure that your child brings sunscreen and this is applied before school, they will also need a sun hat. Alternatively, if the forecast is rain, please provide your child with suitable waterproof clothing.

We will be travelling to Broadstairs via our school minibus. Children will be provided with a Free School lunch; they may bring their own lunch if preferred. The cost of the trip is £3 per child.
