Published 05/12/25, by Chris BingToday, we read the rest of our wonderful first core text of the year, 'The Snail and the Whale'. We then reordered the key events of the story into chronological order using time connectives such as ‘first’, ‘then’ and ‘after that’ to order each section of the story. In small groups, we acted out the key events of the story, and had a choice to narrate the story or act it out as each of the characters. This was lots of fun, and we were able to use our great drama skills to retell our narrative. Ask us all about it!
