The children had a great day working systematically to create their own witches' potions with Miss Millidine, investigated a city building problem with Miss Morris, built their own robots with Mr Brown and used their new learning about money to go shopping for ingredients at Mr Brun-Cialis' magic shop! Ask them all about it :)

Published 06/02/25, by Kiki AminToday, we planted daffodils and other flowers in our school beds and planters! It was so much fun digging in the soil and placing the bulbs around the playground. Everyone was so excited to help, and we can't wait to see the beautiful flowers growing! Thank you again to our parents and carers who were able to help!

Published 31/01/25, by Kiki AminFor our next unit of writing, we are writing our own instruction texts in the form of recipes! Today, we talked about what an instructional text is and how it must be precise and explicitly clear to ensure a great outcome! We learnt about how imperative verbs (bossy verbs) are used for this. To show our growing knowledge, we were tasked with teaching Miss Amin how to make a sandwich, which was trickier than we thought! Then, we had a go at instructing our talk partners, being precise and brushing up on our oracy skills too! What fun we had!
