Year 3, 2024-25

That time has crept up on us once again! It is the beginning of a new academic year. I can imagine you and your children have all kinds of emotions darting around your brains. Personally, I'm excited for a new year and excited to get to know a new cohort of children as we welcome them up to Key Stage 2.

Along with Ms Marfleet and Mr Johnson, I am looking forward to welcoming you all back to school on Tuesday and teaching load of exciting subjects this year!

Below is some information that will be useful for you this term:

Welcome Meetings will take place on Friday 6th September at 2.20-3pm. These meetings are a chance for you to meet the Yr 3 Team, to find out about the coming year, and to ask any questions you may have.

Children in Year 3 should bring a healthy snack and drink to school. This will be consumed at morning break and afternoon break (before Arts Curriculum).

As most of you know, in KS2 children take part in the Arts Curriculum from 2:15-4:15.  This includes their PE, Art, Music, Dance, and Drama lessons. Our Arts Curriculum Timetable is as follows:

Every Friday, we will have our Multiplication Quiz and Spelling Test. Spellings will be sent home every Friday afternoon to be practised over the week. These are to be handed in on Friday mornings before our test.

Let's have a great year!
