Lantern Making
This week the whole school has been making lanterns for Diversity week.
Ahead of this week's parade at the end of Diversity Week, each class has had the chance to partake in an array of workshops to explore and understand diversity. Team Pressley have been exploring the theme of identity.
On Tuesday we made lanterns. These were part of a workshop to prepare for the parade. The lanterns can be brought to the parade and lit up to join a beautiful procession. Team Pressley built their structure, followed instructions to ensure it was sturdy and finally decorated them with tissue paper! The whole class had such fun and have created some fantastic lanterns to light up the street in the parade.
